Woman over 40 practicing brain health habits midlife UK leading expert

If you’re a woman over 40 experiencing brain fog, forgetfulness or mental overload, you are not alone.

There is a lot you can do to protect your brain and stay mentally sharp.

I’m Elizabeth Curphey, a Registered Osteopath and NLP Master Practitioner, with over 27 years of clinical experience helping women improve their health and future wellbeing.

Is your brain trying to tell you something?

Many of the women I work with notice subtle changes in midlife. You might be experiencing:

  • Brain fog and difficulty concentrating

  • Forgetting words or losing your train of thought

  • Mental fatigue at the end of the day

  • Feeling overwhelmed by work or family demands

  • Worrying about Alzheimer's disease because of your family history

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, you're not imagining it, and there are powerful ways to support your brain.

Hello, I'm Elizabeth!

I’m a Registered Osteopath with over 27 years of clinical experience helping people improve their health. Having worked in healthcare for so long, I understand what being well and healthy really means, and why for so many people their health isn't how they want it to be. There is a lot of conflicting and confusing advice in the health and wellness space - you won't find any of that with me!

I listen, I care and I understand your midlife brain health concerns - not just as an experienced clinician, but as someone who has gone through them too. And I have the experience, skill and expertise to know what is right for you to help you feel better again.

After losing my father to Alzheimer’s disease in 2020, I became deeply committed to understanding what we can do to protect our brains and reduce the risk of dementia.

Since then I have studied the science of brain health, lifestyle medicine and cognitive aging.

Today I help women over 40 improve their brain health, regain mental clarity and take practical steps to reduce their risk of Alzheimer’s.

This doesn't mean overhauling your whole life, exercising for hours at the gym, preparing complicated meals or spending a fortune on supplements.

By making simple lifestyle changes and small, daily habit shifts, we have the power to keep our brains sharp, keep our cherished memories and reduce our own Alzheimer's risk.

Even if:

  • You have a family history of Alzheimer's disease

  • You feel your brain isn't as quick as it used to be

  • You feel you have left it too late to do anything

I can promise you:

  • Your brain is not broken

  • You are not destined to develop Alzheimer's disease

  • You still have time to improve your brain health

Protecting your brain isn’t about extreme diets, hours in the gym, or complicated protocols.

In just 90 days, following my unique B.R.A.I.N. Framework you will notice the difference. You will start to feel:

  • Calmer

  • More in control

  • Clearer headed

  • Less overwhelmed

  • More like yourself again

My 360 B.R.A.I.N. Framework focuses on five powerful areas that influence long-term brain health:

  • Stress management

  • Blood sugar and nutrition

  • Sleep optimisation

  • Body strength and movement

  • Social connection

Small changes in these areas can have a profound impact on your brain’s resilience and long-term health.

We start by understanding where you are right now, then move into the key steps to help you make the right changes, and we finish with a clear plan and strategy to make it easier to move forward in life.
